DAY 01 - Depart for Chiangmai - the gateway to Northern Thailand. At Chiangmai Airport, there will be a representative from Mae-Sa Valley, to facilitate transfer to Mae-Sa Valley Craft Village. After settling in, learn some of the skills that make Chiangmai famous, ceramic painting / batik dyeing / parasol painting / 'Sa' paper making. (Dinner)
DAY 02 - After breakfast, take a 4 wheel-drive to Nhong Noi Royal Project Development Centre to see how the royal family has helped the hill tribes grow fruits and vegetables instead of opium. Visit a typical Mong Hill Tribe to experience their way of life. Trek along the forest trails to the Fire Observation Tower, the good workout will evoke hunger pangs. Have a BBQ Picnic Lunch and enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain at 2,000 feet above sea level. After lunch, take an elephant ride through the forest trails. Return to Mae Sa Valley, learn some of the skills that make Chiangmai famous, ceramic painting / batik dyeing / parasol painting / 'Sa' paper making. In the evening, a drive into Chiangmai for a Kantoke Dinner - a traditional northern meal of assorted dishes, accompanied with the music of a Thai orchestra and dances. There will be a chance to pick up traditional handicrafts from the night bazaar before returning to Mae Sa Valley. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
DAY 03 - Spend the morning at the Working Farm. See how the water buffalo help to plough the paddy fields. Join in the ploughing, planting and harvesting and learn how to refine the 'padi' into rice. This will be followed by a visit to the herbal garden. After lunch, proceed to do a city tour to Doi Suthep Temple. The rest of the day is free and easy. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
DAY 04 - At leisure to take optional activities at Mae Sa Valley such as Thai Cooking or Craft learning. (Breakfast/Lunch)
